Chronicle the special moments in life: the birth of a new child, baby’s first steps, landmark birthdays or simply a day in the park. I’ll provide you with quality stills capturing the essence of you, your family and your friends.

My style is unobtrusive and relaxed; I prefer to let situations develop naturally and direct my subjects as little as possible. All I’ll ask of you is that you try to forget I’m there, and I use a long lens to help achieve that aim.

Before I even pick up my camera, I always allow time to get to know my subjects a little. This helps them to feel more at ease. I’ll then spend around 1 ½ hours shooting, which I find is more than enough time. However, if children are involved I let them dictate the pace, and I only book one shoot per day – leaving extra time for the less predictable nature of photographing children!

The location is entirely up to you. It can be in your home or garden, the quiet of your local park, or the woods where you walk the dog. Although I’m based in Cambridge I’m willing to travel anywhere within the UK.
